The Heart of Hotel Monterosa
Our beautiful dining room and lounge have been welcoming guests for generations and remain the heart of Hotel Monterosa today.
Each evening, our guests gather around the table to enjoy simple, honest and flavourful cuisine inspired by the traditions of Northern Italy. Homemade pasta, fresh gnocchi and seasonal specialities are regular features on our menu, alongside our much-loved porcini risotto.
Most guests stay with us on a half-board basis, enjoying both breakfast and dinner as part of their experience. Dinner is served every evening except Wednesdays and Sundays during the winter season, and every evening except Sundays during the summer season.
Located in the heart of Piemonte, one of Italy's most celebrated wine regions, we take pride in offering a carefully selected wine list featuring many local producers alongside a few favourites from other parts of Italy.

Local products
All our ingredients are carefully selected and as local as possible Our butter, honey and fish, and the tasty Toma cheese, comes from local producers in the Valsesia valley.
Caffe delle Guide
A favourite meeting place in the heart of Alagna, Caffè delle Guide has welcomed locals and visitors for generations.
Join us for a coffee, an aperitivo, a glass of wine or a cocktail in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. We also serve a selection of light dishes and snacks throughout the day.

Wines
We have a wide variety of Barbera and Nebbiolo wines, as well as Barolo and Barbaresco. We also serve wines from Tuscany and Trentino and we have a large assortment of white wines with local grapes as Arneis and Erbavoglio. Exciting local wines from the Gattinara region are also served.
