Restaurant
Our beautiful restaurant and lounge is the heart of Hotel Monterosa. Here we serve a set menu every evening except Sundays. Most of our guests stay with us with half board including breakfast and dinner.
Our cuisine is simple and rustic , and typical northern Italian. Homemade pasta and gnocchi are of course on the table every week and our risotto porcini is world famous. Since Alagna Valsesia lies in Piemonte, the majority of our wine selection comes from here.

All our ingredients are carefully selected and as local as possible Our butter, honey and fish, and the tasty Toma cheese, comes from local producers in the Valsesia valley.
Caffe delle Guide
The hotels bar Caffe delle Guide, is the most popular one in Alagna. Its been here for ages. We have a rich selection of local beers, wines and many excellent drinks like Mojito and Moscow Mule. If you are hungry, we serve everything from small dishes to pizzas and burgers.
Wines
We have a wide variety of Barbera and Nebbiolo wines, as well as Barolo and Barbaresco. We also serve wines from Tuscany and Trentino and we have a large assortment of white wines with local grapes as Arneis and Erbavoglio. Exciting local wines from the Gattinara region are also served.
